$36,000 Awarded in Scholarships

The Next Step has been fortunate to award $36,000 in scholarships to twenty-one recipients for the 2008-2009 school year.

Recipients include a high school student and an adult, both entering college for the first time and everything in between.

The Next Step has been able to assist these men and women in achieving their educational goals.

As one recipient stated, “Sobriety is difficult and learning to deal with life is not easy; but knowing there are people who are willing to help you in some way if you just continue to be willing to do the next right thing, puts my mind at ease.”
